Aptec is an Indian technology company dedicated to the hygienic processing and preservation of food products particularly in the Indian sub-continent. Their focus is in providing technical support to food processing industry and enabling technology providers to market their products.

Backstory

For 16 years, I lived in Richmond Town, in the heart of the city. While I was working at Grey, I didn’t socialise with anybody except my colleagues. Advertising also leaves no room or bandwidth or inclination to go seek conversation starters outside of the circle.

When I quit work and had Isha, I discovered that I had people living across my home. Isha, my 3-month-old daughter made friends with my immediate neighbour, also a pediatrician. I followed suit. A few years later, I moved to another building and Keya, my 2-year-old, took to a lady with a dog who lived upstairs. Now all those who know Keya will know that she will walk away with any person with a dog (or cat). How she got lost in Mauritius chasing a cat is a back story of another client for another day. So in conclusion, I don’t quite like cats.

We bought a beautiful house overlooking a farm in the back of beyond in Singasandra. Earlier, from Richmond Town I would reach MG road in 10 minutes flat, now I feel I need a visa if I have to travel beyond Koramangala. To reach MG Road I need to go through immigration. Oh, how I wander. But only in conversation. So, in Singasandra, I had no hope (or desire) of meeting anyone like-minded. I mean if I barely engaged with 2 people in Richmond Town, what were the chances of meeting anyone remotely likeable in the village of Singasandra. 

And then I met Shefali.

And this is the website I did for her father who is a consultant providing technical support to the food processing and preservation industry. Designed and delivered in under 24 hours. Bete, the website looks good.

Shefali moved to Pune after a short stay in Singasandra. I miss her every day. 

And in my lovely terrace garden, there is a cat who comes and does his business on my lush green grass. I hate!
