Bombay 88

Backstory

Bombay 88 was a kickass idea. It was founded by 2 well endowed young things who were in search of plus size fashion and roamed the corners of fashion street and the darzi ki dukaan of Cheetah Camp. The pin code was their address, the city was Bombay, and the 2 fat ladies, number 88, was the stereotypical number calling of Tambola Housie. Rather than be shamed by this calling, Naina and Ivana embraced it. The name was theirs, the kaali peeli taxi rendition was mine, and together they made some XL, XLer and XLent clothing.

Add to the fact that picking up anything beyond XL in a department store feels like buying a condom from a pharmacy
