Backstory

Arvind first came to me in 2019 to get his professional profile designed. He had seen a slide in my friend (and client) Amrita’s presentation which captured her achievements and he wanted something similar. It was a straightforward design and he was impressed enough to send another friend to me, convincing him to get his profile graphically represented. Arvind also began discussions on a potential website design that he would require as soon as he got down to writing the content. And then the waiting game begins. The client has partially briefed you, you are excited to begin the design process, but the content that is given has come in an excel sheet with bullet points. After about 6 months, elaborate content arrives, enough to publish 2 volumes of those fat encyclopedias (the advent of google did see the death of encyclopedias). With a quick round of editing, and 10 days of me going underground, the website was over and out. Though in between we did spend a lot of time redoing the colours of the Mind Stream logo to arrive at the optimum depth of blue. (whatever!) Arvind is my first client from Qatar, never met him, never seen him, brief email exchange, minimal changes, and a website launch. Just like that.
