Backstory

Mukta always had a great sense for taking something out of the ordinary and turning it over its head. Literally and figuratively. I am sure Prescriptive Facials was born out of the sheer boredom of waiting for the papaya peel face mask to dry out. We launched the brand giving it a medical (read serious) mask on the ordinary beauty parlour facials. It was a low key initiative, testing the waters and the proof of concept. In a couple of years, we relaunched the brand, moving away from serious medicine and giving it a more sensory, soft, skin therapy feel.
