Space Brahma

Backstory

I was introduced to Ranganath years ago when he was a student of music. He asked me to design a brochure for his guru who used to teach Carnatic music. I said a number, he said ok. Didn’t want to see my previous work, didn’t negotiate, didn’t ask for any design changes. A few years later when he got into construction, I did a brochure for his project.

Spacebramha is Ranganath’s ambitious project of serving the Architectural, Construction and Engineering industry using a technology platform. Essentially, it hopes to become the yellow pages of the domain. Ranganath had already decided that the brand name would be Space Bramha.

It was divine intervention that the given name embodied Architectural, Construction and Engineering  – ACE. Once I saw it, I could not work on alternatives.

The distinction on ACE used a soaring yellow colour, the rest of the letters were given the grounding cement gey. The last letter E was modified, giving it a continuous right extension into free space. 

Once he saw it, he could not look at the alternatives.
