Design and Development Team

Story

Major League Cricket is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in the United States. Operated by American Cricket Enterprises (ACE) and sanctioned by USA Cricket, it plans to begin play in 2023, with six teams in major U.S. cities under a single-entity model.

Backstory

Having worked on the logos for ACE and Foray, I had my foot in the door for Major League Cricket (MLC). My frugal knowledge on cricket was and is limited to the commentary I would hear in my cricket-obsessed household from way back in the 80s – khel ruk gaya hai, because of halki si boonda bandi. When I embarked on this project, I was sure I could not escape learning the sport. But Sachin had mercy. (See, I know that Sachin is the God of Cricket)

I serve as the design director on Foray and we were commissioned to develop the website tech system for Major League Cricket, Minor League Cricket, the Cricket Academies, Junior Championship and the New Inning Foundation. If you wait here a while, more projects will get added to this list. As I pen this down, the website will change. Such is the dynamic nature of the project.

It is a privilege to be a part of the design and development team and work on a project of such scale. Thank you S. It’s the same S of Willow TV, Foray and ACE fame. It’s time you google him.

I now know the difference between a medium-fast and a fast-medium bowler. Yeah, go Google!

And while you are at it, know that big names from Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Dropbox, WhatsApp, Adobe are investors at MLC, amongst a host of other illustrious Investors

Then there are team owners. Rahul, naam to suna hoga!
